Every dollar wagered earns Smoko Points. Points carry you up eight tiers, and each tier lifts your cashback rate, your withdrawal limits and the level of support you get.
The Eight Tiers
Points reset annually, tiers do notEarning points
You earn 1 Smoko Point per A$1 wagered on pokies, and 1 point per A$5 wagered on live dealer and table games. The difference reflects the house edge on each category — it is not a penalty, it is arithmetic.
Points accrue on cash wagers and on bonus wagers alike. They post to your account in real time, and your tier is evaluated continuously — cross a threshold mid-session and the new rate applies from your next wager.
Keeping a tier
Point totals reset each 1 July. Tier status does not reset with them: you hold your tier for a full twelve months from the day you reach it, then need half that tier's threshold across the following year to hold it again. Nobody drops more than one tier at a review.
What a host actually does
From Ripper tier you get a named contact rather than the general queue. They handle withdrawal escalations, tailor offers to the games you actually play, and can adjust limits within policy.
They are also the person to tell if you want offers switched off. A host will action that immediately and permanently if you ask.
